Adopt an animal

We do not sell animals. With all our hearts, we help street animals and animals in need find a loving, permanent family — for a fresh start and a better life.

One animal. One loving, permanent family.

Adoption means welcoming an animal permanently into your home and taking responsibility for its daily life, care and future. Each animal is placed with one carefully selected adoptive family. An initial enquiry is non-binding and is not a reservation or an adoption promise.

The path to a new home

  • 1. Get to know the animal: Read the profile, known traits, needs and current adoption status. We discuss missing details personally. Not every animal is ready for adoption.
  • 2. Send an adoption enquiry: Tell us the animal’s name, your town and country. Briefly describe your household, living arrangements, existing animals, experience, available time and care arrangements.
  • 3. Assess the match together: We discuss the animal’s needs and what you can offer. Further conversations, a meeting or a home check are agreed as appropriate. The aim is a lasting match between the animal and family.
  • 4. Clarify responsibility and preparation: Before confirming an adoption, we clarify health information, required veterinary steps, documents, official registration and the adoption agreement with the responsible people and authorities.
  • 5. Agree costs transparently: We discuss actual, documented veterinary, document and transport costs in advance. We do not sell animals, add a profit margin or charge a flat adoption fee. Costs already covered by others are not charged again; payment goes directly to the service provider where possible.
  • 6. Plan collection or travel: You may collect your animal yourself after planning it with us, or discuss a suitable journey with a flight volunteer or lawful animal transport provider. Suitability depends on the animal, destination and requirements. Booking, costs, handover and reception are agreed in advance. Free transport is not promised.
  • 7. Allow time to settle: Your animal needs a safe space, calm, patience and reliable care. We discuss questions and contact after handover personally.

Not sure which animal would suit you?

You can enquire without naming a particular animal. Describe your home and what you can offer. We will discuss honestly whether one of our animals could be a suitable match.

Unable to offer a home?

Animals here also need reliable help. Through sponsorship in kind, you can provide food or other supplies agreed in advance — including regular, ongoing support. One person can support several animals, and one animal can have several sponsors. The animal remains in local care; sponsorship is not adoption and creates no ownership or decision-making rights.

Only donations of supplies and non-binding expressions of interest are currently possible. Needs, quantities and handover are agreed personally.
