ANIMAL HOPE GREECE currently operates as a private animal welfare project with a foster care facility and is also building a reliable network for help, accommodation and responsible adoption.

We welcome cooperation enquiries from Greece, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Every enquiry is assessed personally and transparently, without any automatic commitment.
G.A. Life — our animal transport partner
ANIMAL HOPE GREECE works with G.A. Life for animal transport. The company, based in Greece, transports dogs and cats between Greece and other European countries.
We remain open to further transport partners and continue to expand our network. The route, date, availability and costs are agreed individually for each animal.
Souls of Imathia
We are planning to work with Souls of Imathia in animal welfare.
Who we are looking for
Animal welfare and adoption partners
Responsible organisations, private initiatives, foster homes and experienced adoption partners who work transparently and put animal welfare first.
Responsible animal transport
Experienced transport partners who carry animals safely, transparently and in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Flight volunteers
People who would like to accompany an adopted animal on a journey they have already planned. Every transport is checked for legal and organisational requirements and fully coordinated in advance.
Flight volunteers (airport helpers)
We are looking for reliable people for pre-arranged departures from Thessaloniki and arrivals at the agreed destination airport. They can help with agreed handovers, finding the way around the airport and receiving the animal.
The task, timing and responsibilities are agreed personally for each occasion. There are no unannounced handovers. Our flight volunteers provide the flight accompaniment and airport assistance agreed in advance. This creates no unagreed costs or rights over the animal.
Helping together from Thessaloniki
For animals with a suitable home, we are particularly looking for flight volunteers on journeys already planned from Thessaloniki, as well as experienced animal transporters. We disclose the actual, documented costs in advance and agree which share the adoptive family will cover. Costs demonstrably covered by the municipality, a flight volunteer or another party are not charged again. Free transport has not been promised.
Before any booking, we agree on the animal’s suitability, transport conditions, required documents and notifications, responsibilities, handover and all costs. A flight volunteer accompanies the animal but does not automatically pay the transport fee. Whether any costs are covered by the flight volunteer or another party is transparently recorded beforehand for each transport.
For an initial offer to accompany an animal on a flight, we only need the departure airport, destination, airline and travel date. Please do not send identity document copies or booking codes at this stage. Offer flight accompaniment · Offer transport help

- the protection, health and long-term welfare of the animal as a shared priority
Local cooperation
In specific animal welfare cases, our private foster care facility works with the responsible municipality of Pydna-Kolindros, based in Aiginio, and with vets. Responsibilities, veterinary steps, official registration, adoption and, where applicable, travel abroad are coordinated together. This practical cooperation is described without using the municipality’s logo or claiming that ANIMAL HOPE GREECE is already a registered organisation or a formal contractual partner. We name and link further partners only by mutual agreement.
