We do not look away — whatever the species.
Our current focus is on dogs. Nevertheless, we want to keep open the possibility of responsibly helping other animals in need.
Two paths — finding care or adopting
Finding a new home or care for an animal
Can you no longer care for an animal — a donkey, mule, horse, goat, sheep, chicken, duck or small animal — or are you looking for a safe place? Tell us about the situation. We will honestly assess what is possible without making premature promises.
Adopting another animal
We currently have no other animals available for adoption. Register your interest — we will contact you when an animal is looking for a home.
Current situation — explained transparently
No profiles of other species have been published yet. We introduce our cats Mia and Luzi in the dedicated cats section. When a specific animal needs help, we will add further profiles with real photographs and verified information.
What help can mean in an individual case
When an animal needs immediate help, we assess what can responsibly be done in that particular case. Depending on the animal and the situation, this may mean care, temporary accommodation, coordinating veterinary assistance, finding an appropriate specialist organisation or arranging a responsible adoption.
We cannot promise to take in every animal. Space, specialist care, safety, health and funding must be assessed individually for each animal. If we cannot take an animal in ourselves, we try, where possible, to find a workable solution through suitable contacts.
Every animal is introduced as an individual
When we provide direct help to an animal outside our current focus on dogs, it will also receive its own profile. We include its species, sex, approximate age, size or weight, health, character, care requirements, compatibility, individual needs and current support or adoption status.

Please tell us which animal is involved, where it is and what help it needs. We assess each case honestly and without premature promises.
