ANIMAL HOPE GREECE currently operates as a private foster home. The independent organisation is still being established, while our practical help for animals is already under way.
What we already do
We mainly take in dogs found in the Aiginio area or brought to us. We care for them in our private foster home, give them safety and, where necessary, work gently on fear, everyday routines and social behaviour. We coordinate individual cases with the responsible Municipality of Pydna-Kolindros, based in Aiginio.
What we are continuing to build
Care & accommodation
Provide animals with safe temporary accommodation, assess their needs and ensure food, rest, care and suitable shelter.
Veterinary cooperation
Coordinate examinations and necessary treatments with veterinarians and the responsible municipality. Identification, vaccinations, required tests, neutering and documents are prepared and recorded transparently.
Foster care & adoption
Collect verified information for every animal, find a suitable home and carefully prepare adoptions within Greece or abroad.
Local cooperation
For specific animal-welfare cases, we already work with the responsible Municipality of Pydna-Kolindros, based in Aiginio, and with veterinarians. For compliant transport and international adoptions, we involve the relevant authorities and suitable partners. We publish further names, logos and formal partnerships only with explicit consent.
We offer help
Our main focus is dogs in need. Where possible, we also help cats, horses, donkeys, mules, ponies, goats, sheep, chickens, small animals, birds and other animals. Every request is reviewed personally. We help directly or work with suitable professional and cooperation partners to find a responsible solution.
