Our Kumpel

A loyal friend with a big heart

Tip: His name remains Kumpel. “Buddy” is simply the closest English meaning of the German word.

One day he was simply there. Kumpel appeared in the village – no one was looking for him and no one seemed to miss him. Everything suggests that he had been abandoned. Since then, we have simply called him Kumpel.

And the name suits him. Kumpel is an exceptionally kind, trusting and affectionate dog who seeks closeness to people.

But Kumpel has also chosen someone himself: Stella, a very timid female dog who also lives in the village. Since then, he has hardly left her side. Wherever Stella is, Kumpel is usually there too. He stays by her and watches over her.

Kumpel has since been neutered; the costs were covered privately. Stella has not yet been spayed because, due to her great fear, she cannot currently be caught.

That is why we do not want to rush anything with Kumpel. Adoption may be possible in the future, but his close bond with Stella must be taken into account. Anyone interested in him should know his full story.
